Weekly Photo Dump

 

Last week I took the least amount of pictures I think I have ever taken in nearly 2 years. I had to do a better job this week. I have one excited very active little boy on my hands so getting pictures of him are not always easy.

Mommy decided to get the crayons and color books out again and he got super excited when he saw the Mickey color books. We just might bring them out a little more. He did such a great job.

Weekly Photo Dump

 Last week turned out to be one of those weeks that just got away from me.

These past couple weeks have involved lots of climbing and testing boundaries. It seemed like every time I turned around he was climbing up to or on something. He is a smart little cookie and knows exactly how to get what he wants. You will see what I mean by a few of the pics below.

Spent some time at Barnes and Noble yesterday, played with blocks and checked out some books. Then we walked over to Toys R Us and played with the train table. I think a train set is in our near future.

Five on Friday - Five Random things

 

First time linking up with the ladies for Five on Friday. I love the idea and hope to link up more in the future. Keeping it simple this week with just Five Random things that are going through my head right now. Enjoy.

{One}

I finally got a small space decorated a bit for fall this week. I am happy with how it turned out even though it is just a small space. I am thinking that a trip to the Orchard & Pumpkin Patch is going to happen early next week. I am in need of some mums and pumpkins on my porch. I also think the weather is supposed to me much more fall like after the weekend so that will make it even better. I am ready to bust out the boots and layers.

I am having more fun shopping for my 21 month old son than I am for myself. Shopping for a boy is WAY more fun than I EVER thought it would be. Old Navy and Carter's are my fav's right now. I will be hitting up Target soon, I am loving what they have for toddler boys right now.

 

{Four}

 Christmas shopping and 2nd Birthday planning are definitely in the planning stages. I told myself after Brayden's 1st Birthday that I would not wait until a week before to start planning his party. I am pretty sure we will be having a Thomas the Train 2nd Birthday!
 

{Five}

I want to do a total makeover in my kitchen/living room. It has been the same for almost 10 years with very few changes. It is definitely time for a change and fresh new look. I have been pinning things like crazy, now all I need to do is make things happen. I have become  such a procrastinator.

 

 



Our Week In Photos (Post Vacation)

We have been back home for almost a week now after enjoying a crazy amazing week in Myrtle Beach. Part 1 of our First Family Vacation has been posted here if you would like to check it out. I hope you will. Of course we wish we were still soaking up the sun on the beach but it's back to reality for us. We have been pretty lazy and it's defiantly taking some time to get back into the swing of things but I promise next week, I will be more productive. Actually, we have some outside projects planned for this weekend since our weather has finally decided to cool down just a bit. High temps for the weekend in the low 70's. Fall may officially be trying to make its appearance.

 

He never leaves his sunglasses on for more than a second so when he did I of course had to pull out the phone for a quick pic. On our way out the door to go pick the dog up from my mom's.

A much needed Target trip with my handsome little shopping buddy.

Lots of laziness going on around here this week. I just love my little diaper baby.

Our Week In Photos (Pre-Vacation week)

We are busy enjoying our week in Myrtle Beach so this should have been posted a few days ago. Last week we were busy preparing for our trip so we had lots going on. I did not take as many pictures as I thought I would but here are a few from our very busy week.

 

One from the weekend, Sunday I came home from work to find Brayden in his room cleaning out his dresser. Perhaps he is getting a head start on packing for vacation.

Finally got some smiles out of this kid after dinner Monday night. It was a rough day for us.

Mama had to get some packing done so I had to put a show on for him to watch, I love watching him laugh at the tv, makes me laugh.

Our Week In Photos

I take a lot of pictures but hardly any with my good camera. Most if not all of the pictures I post are taken with my phone, its so convenient and much easier to carry around. This weekly post really helps me get those photos off my phone and allows me to tell a story with them. They may not be the best quality pictures but they are memories and I want to cherish them for as long as I can.

Week of August 18th, 2013

This kept him busy for a while. Only my kid. He loves lining things up.

Somebody was not happy that I told him he could not walk through a neighbors garden while on our walk so he protested by laying down in the street. Luckily we live on a very quiet street with very little traffic.

 

Sunday night walk with Mommy & Daddy like a big boy.

 

Ran his hands through his hair after eating banana with breakfast.

Monday we had a visit from Grammy and Auntie and Skylar. They love playing together.

Tuesday was a very difficult day for us. Mommy gave into the binky and a Thomas movie by 9AM.

Playing outside in the sand helped his bad mood for a little bit.

 He loves watching the cars and trucks go by and gets pretty excited.

 

New trick?

I guess he is practicing his football positions. We are excited for football season around here.

Our Week In Photos

We have enjoyed another beautiful week here with unseasonably cooler temps and light breezes. We have had the windows open everyday and it feels so good.

Even though its still two weeks away we are starting to get pretty excited for our trip to Myrtle Beach. It will be our first vacation with a little one so I am nervous about how he will do on the drive and with sleeping but trying to convince myself that everything will be fine and we will have a great time. More on our up-coming trip later.

 

We had a very easy going week again this week so pictures are slim.

Ummm, where did my baby go? He looks huge!

Oh Ya...this mama braved the huge cart at Target for the first time and I am so glad I did. Brayden loved being able to sit like a big boy and it was a very relaxed stress free shopping trip for me.
